In the Loop was formed in 2008 by Professor Joanna Verran. The Business brings together all the microbiology expertise associated with our successful interdisciplinary research group. In the Loop is based within the newly refurbished state of the art laboratories at the All Saints site in Central Manchester. We operate within a thriving and multidisciplinary Research Institute and have access to extensive analytical equipment and strong academic staff expertise across disciplines from surface engineering to molecular biology, enabling us to offer a wide range of services encompassing research and consultancy, education and communication.
